Relations between the parliaments of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye are highly intensive. In the near future, Tbilisi will host a trilateral meeting of the foreign relations committees of the three countries’ parliaments.

This was stated by Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili in comments to journalists in Istanbul.

He noted that the traditional trilateral format provides an opportunity to discuss key issues at the parliamentary level.

Papuashvili also said that the governments of Türkiye, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia are pursuing a prudent policy aimed at maintaining peace in the region.

The speaker emphasized that the importance of the Middle Corridor has grown even further, adding that thanks to the coordinated efforts of governments along the route, there are no signs of chaos or crises.
