Armenia discloses transit volumes via Azerbaijan

Armenia’s State Revenue Committee and Ministry of Economy have released data on goods imported via the territory of Azerbaijan, as well as directly from Azerbaijan, covering the period from November 2025 to April 15, 2026.

According to Armenian media reports, a total of 26,295 tons of cargo from Russia and Kazakhstan were transported to Armenia through Azerbaijan during this period, alongside 9,337 tons of fuel supplied from Azerbaijan.

An official statement emphasized that “the results of regional cooperation and peace are already being felt and are creating new opportunities for economic development.”

Customs data indicate that the first railway transit shipment through Azerbaijan took place on November 6, 2025.

Imports from Russia and Kazakhstan included 24,865 tons of wheat, 1,362 tons of fertilizers, and 68 tons of buckwheat.

In addition, between December 2025 and April 15, 2026, a total of 9,337 tons of fuel were delivered from Azerbaijan to Armenia via Georgia, including 5,398 tons of diesel fuel (valued at $4.3 million) and 3,939 tons of gasoline (valued at $2.9 million).
