Today, diesel fuel and Russian fertilizers were shipped from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
A train consisting of 22 railcars carrying 1,298 tons of diesel fuel and 4 railcars carrying 240 tons of fertilizers departed from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC toward the Boyuk-Kesik station.
The cargo will be delivered to Armenia in transit through the territory of Georgia.
It is worth recalling that the previous shipment of diesel fuel from Azerbaijan to Armenia took place on April 11, when 887 tons of fuel were sent in 15 tank cars.
In total, as of today, Azerbaijan has exported 6,312 tons of diesel fuel, 979 tons of AI-92 gasoline, and 2,955 tons of AI-95 gasoline to Armenia.
In addition, 23.9 thousand tons of grain, more than 1,100 tons of fertilizers, and 68 tons of buckwheat have been shipped from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.
Fuel supplies to Armenia began on December 18, 2025. On that day, 1,220 tons of AI-95 gasoline were delivered.
It should also be noted that transportation in this direction continues following the lifting of restrictions on transit shipments from Azerbaijan to Armenia, which had been in place since the period of occupation, in accordance with a decision by President Ilham Aliyev adopted in October 2025.
