The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran has resumed its activities as of April 12. At the initial stage, the diplomatic mission is operating with a limited staff, including the ambassador, with a gradual expansion planned in line with security considerations.
The Foreign Ministry noted that the restoration of the embassy’s operations shortly after the cessation of hostilities and the announcement of a two-week ceasefire underscores the importance of relations with Iran. Baku also reaffirmed its support for initiatives aimed at strengthening peace and stability in the region.
