Azerbaijan has sent another large batch of diesel fuel to Armenia, with nearly 900 tons departing from Baku on April 11.

The shipment, totaling 887 tons, was transported in 15 rail wagons and marks the latest in a series of fuel deliveries between the two countries. Since the start of exports in December 2025, Azerbaijan has supplied Armenia with more than 6,300 tons of diesel fuel. In addition, deliveries have included 979 tons of RON 92 gasoline and 2,955 tons of RON 95 gasoline.

Fuel shipments began on December 18, 2025, with an initial delivery of 1,220 tons of RON 95 gasoline.

The exports follow a policy shift announced in October 2025, when President Ilham Aliyev approved the lifting of long-standing restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia. The restrictions had been in place since the years of conflict, and their removal opened the way for the current flow of goods along this route.

The latest delivery underscores the continuation of fuel trade between the two countries under the revised transit framework.
