Azerbaijan and the United States discuss TRIPP initiative

Azerbaijan and the United States exchanged views on the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) initiative, as well as on areas of cooperation in transport and artificial intelligence within the framework of the Strategic Partnership Charter.

According to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the discussions took place during a meeting between Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov and Rebecca Neff, Senior Advisor at the US State Department’s Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs.

During the meeting, it was noted that Azerbaijan–US relations have reached the level of a strategic partnership, with emphasis placed on the importance of making more effective use of existing cooperation potential.

The sides also discussed opportunities for cooperation on international transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan.

In addition, prospects for the participation of US companies in transport infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan were reviewed, along with potential involvement in initiatives related to artificial intelligence, data centers, and other priority sectors.
