Türkiye and Azerbaijan on Thursday announced a pioneering effort to integrate the two countries’ electronic state systems.
Mentioning how Türkiye has 14-year-old e-state system with over an 95% satisfaction rate, Ali Taha Koc, the head of Türkiye’s Digital Transformation Office, said Türkiye will share its information and experience with Azerbaijan.
“As two states, we are working to diversify our work and improve our technologies,” he said in the Black Sea city of Samsun, at Türkiye’s largest technology event Teknofest.
At the e-state websites of the two states, mutual routing links were created, he stressed.
“We believe that this digital bridge we have established with Azerbaijan will set an example for the whole world in this field,” he said.
“Our integration process, which will begin in the field of education, will develop day by day and spread to various areas.”
Ulvi Mehdiyev, the head of Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the presidency, told a press conference that with the move, citizens of Azerbaijan and Türkiye will have easier access to bilateral bureaucratic services.
“The integration of e-state systems is a result of close relations between the two countries,” he added.
