The website of the Association of Azerbaijani Medical Workers in Germany (AATIB/AMD) https://az.amedeu.de has gone online.
The website was created to strengthen the relationships between Azerbaijani doctors, medical scientists and students living in Germany, to explore opportunities for exchange of knowledge and experience between German and Azerbaijani doctors, and to facilitate effective establishment and development of cooperation.
One of the main goals of the association is to support the professional growth of our compatriots working in the field of medicine, as well as the integration of our colleagues into German society in the early stages of their careers. The priorities of the association, which puts special emphasis on awareness-raising and trainings, include the development of educational and social programs, conference planning, promotion of medical education in Azerbaijan and Germany, and close cooperation with local and international organizations.
AATIB was founded in 2020. It is the first society in Germany to represent hundreds of Azerbaijani medical professionals working in the country. The association was officially registered in December 2020 by the decision of the Wiesbaden district court dated 02.12.2020 and presented to the public.
