In 2025, the volume of money transfers by individuals from Azerbaijan to the United States (excluding capital-related transactions) amounted to $76.397 million. According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this is 26.4% lower compared to 2024.
At the same time, the share of transfers from Azerbaijan to the U.S. in the overall structure increased from 11.5% to 15.1%.
Meanwhile, transfers from the United States to Azerbaijan rose significantly. Over the year, individuals sent $100.718 million, which is 55% higher than the previous year. The share of these inflows in the total volume also increased—from 6% to 8.6%.
Overall, in 2025, Azerbaijan received $1.176 billion from abroad, an increase of 8.7% compared to 2024. Outflows from the country amounted to $505.139 million, down 4.1% year-on-year.
