Kazakhstan has taken over the chairmanship of the Turkic States Parliamentary Assembly (TURKPA) from Azerbaijan, TURKPA confirmed to Report.
The Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Sahiba Gafarova, handed over the chairmanship to her Kazakh counterpart.
Last year, the chairmanship passed from Türkiye to Azerbaijan.
