During a meeting with Deputy Minister Akiko Honda, satisfaction was expressed that the number of Azerbaijanis receiving education in Japan has been increasing every year. It was noted that Azerbaijan will gain professional specialists thanks to their internships in large companies and enterprises in Japan. The chairman, reminding that during his visit he also met with these students, spoke about the projects carried out by the committee in relation to youth, particularly students studying abroad, and emphasized that deepening cooperation in education and student exchange for internships is in the interests of both countries. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Japan, Gursel Ismailzade.
The chairman of the committee also met with the head of the Japan-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group, Akira Amari. At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the level of bilateral relations, including inter-parliamentary ties. Presenting information about the purpose of the visit and the activities of the committee, the chairman spoke about the growing role of the diaspora in interstate relations and the gradual increase in the number of Azerbaijanis receiving education in Japan, and invited Akira Amari to visit Azerbaijan. Then there was a tour of the parliament building.
