The 55-container block train left from the Chinese city of Chongqing, transited through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea and Azerbaijan. Part of the load was destined for Georgia and Eastern Europe, and was delivered to the port of Poti for further transport to Constanța (Romania) via the Black Sea.
The remainder of the goods continued down the Baku – Tbilish – Kars railway towards Türkiye and Germany.
Diversification
