Does Pashinyan know what a man’s word means?

Random people in politics, just like in other areas, is not a rare phenomenon.

Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan gives exclusive interview to TASS

One might even say that when they talk about a “crisis of democracy”, they mean that populist politicians who are far removed from political realities rise to leadership in certain countries, destroying everything that was built before them with their infantile idiocy. The same thing is happening with the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Even the disgraceful defeat in the Karabakh war of 2020 taught him nothing. The leaders of the two countries gave an interview to Euronews TV channel, which, supposedly, should have clarified the positions of the two states on all sensitive issues and dotted all the i’s. However, apparently, this fool, Pashinyan, ran out of the allotted interview time, and yet that time was enough for him to demonstrate his inadequacy. Subconsciously, of course, he knew that his incoherent rant could further confuse the situation, and that is why immediately after the interview he addressed the Armenian public. All in all, one has to admit that verbal contact does not come easily to Pashinyan. Perhaps he did more or less well with written assignments in Armenian at school. But his speaking skills leave much to be desired. He sounds like an upright hominid in the early stages of evolution. One cannot help but wonder how he became a “successful journalist”, something the Armenian media keep mentioning so often. On the other hand, the nation gets the rulers it deserves.

“I would like to note that despite all the difficulties, we have a real chance to achieve a lasting, stable peace. I call on Azerbaijan to refrain from steps aimed at reducing this chance, such as, for example, the torpedoing of the international mechanism for establishing Stepanakert-Baku dialogue, the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor and the abduction of Nagorno-Karabakh resident Vagif Khachatryan, who was being transported to Yerevan through the Lachin corridor by the ICRC. The release of Khachatryan, as well as other captives, would be an impressive signal of commitment to peace. As a step toward commitment to peace, I call on you not to prevent the entry of humanitarian cargo from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh through the Lachin corridor, especially since preventing the passage of cargo contradicts the trilateral statement and the decision of the International Court of Justice,” Pashinyan told reporters today.

After this statement, only naïve, politically ignorant people in Baku can talk about the peace process and believe that Yerevan recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

“The torpedoing of the international mechanism for establishing Stepanakert-Baku dialogue,” says Pashinyan, referring to the new format of the OSCE Minsk Group and to the prolongation of the talks for another 30 years.

For a start, Baku will not allow history to repeat itself: the OSCE Minsk Group no longer exists and will not exist again. Maybe Pashinyan’s cretinism keeps him from thinking logically, and he believes this will buy him time. But time works against the Armenians. Whether they want to speak in Yevlakh or Baku or not is their problem. The period of the Russian peacekeepers’ stay in Karabakh is coming to an end.

Secondly, the method of blackmail and various appeals Yerevan uses against Baku is not working. Nikol must understand one thing: he is the one who has a chance to sign a peace treaty and bring the issue of his country’s territorial integrity to a close. He is the only one.

There will be no other chance, but it is highly doubtful that Pashinyan’s below-average intelligence can guide him to this conclusion.
