A new shipment of energy equipment provided by Azerbaijan as part of its humanitarian assistance to Ukraine has been delivered to Kyiv, according to officials involved in the handover ceremony.
The transfer ceremony was attended by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev, Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Oleksandr Mishchenko, and other representatives. The total value of the delivered equipment amounts to $1 million.
The cargo includes 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, five transformers, and approximately 27,000 meters of cables and wires, aimed at supporting the restoration of Ukraine’s damaged energy infrastructure.
Ukraine’s Deputy Energy Minister Mykola Kolesnyk stated that the international community continues to assist in rebuilding the country’s power system. He emphasized that Azerbaijan has been providing consistent support, noting that the delivered equipment will be used to restore critical energy facilities and supply electricity to hospitals and other socially important institutions.
With this latest delivery, the total volume of humanitarian aid sent by Azerbaijan to Ukraine has exceeded $45 million, highlighting Baku’s ongoing role in supporting the country’s recovery efforts.
