Moreover, President Aliyev expressed his joy at Kazakhstan’s successes, particularly commending President Tokayev and Kazakhstan’s people for their socio-economic development and innovation. He noted Kazakhstan’s economic growth and significant progress in modernizing the country and diversifying the economy as indicators of sound and well-calibrated economic policies, which Azerbaijan fully supports.
On his part, President Tokayev reciprocated the sentiments, celebrating Azerbaijan’s historic achievements and the restoration of its sovereignty. During the council meeting in Baku on March 11, he lauded the comprehensive discussion of trade, economic, investment cooperation, and international interaction, asserting that Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are strategic partners and allied states. Tokayev was optimistic about the future prospects, especially with the understanding that both governments would implement the deals reached through signed documents and agreements during the meeting.
