As part of the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, a bilateral meeting will take place on July 10 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, between the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.
The most recent meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia was held in Tirana on May 16. On that occasion, Aliyev and Pashinyan held talks on the sidelines of the 6th summit of the European Political Community.
According to Armenian media, Pashinyan is departing today for a working visit to the United Arab Emirates. He is also scheduled to meet with the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, later today.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently expressed hope for the swift conclusion of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
