According to the West Azerbaijan Community, the event, jointly organized by the Alliance of Azerbaijanis of Germany and the West Azerbaijan Community, was attended by about a hundred West Azerbaijani activists living around the world.
The delegation headed by Aziz Alakbarov, Chair of the West Azerbaijan Community, Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, took part in the event. The delegation included Deputy Chair of the community’s Board MP Ramil Hasan and the community’s press secretary Ulviyya Zulfigar.
In the course of the discussions, participants exchanged views on the subject of West Azerbaijan, the activities of the West Azerbaijan Community aimed at exercising the right of return, and actions that can be taken to gain support from the international community with regard to human rights issues.
