Despite the ongoing pandemic in the world, 218 companies from 23 countries took part in the exhibition this year. State-owned railway companies, international corporations, freight and logistics companies will present their services at the event.
Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, ADY Container and ADY Express present a joint stand at the exhibition. Azerbaijan’s stand attracted the interest of exhibitors. They were informed in detail about the transit opportunities of our country. Azerbaijani railway workers demonstrate the new situation in the region after the 44-day war, the growing transit potential of the country and the possibilities for cargo transportation facilitation.
The detailed information was provided on the transport corridors North-South, South-West, East-West and North-West, passing through the territory of Azerbaijan, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, Astara (Azerbaijan) – Astara (Iran) railway line, terminal in Astara, Iran, as well as the opportunities and benefits of new infrastructure projects being implemented in our country. During the discussions, the main attention was paid to the transportation of goods by rail through the territory of Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani representatives presented the work done in the field of transit cargo transportation in our country, major infrastructure projects, benefits of international transport corridors passing through our country and acquired new partners to attract additional cargo on these routes.
It should be noted that the 25th International Exhibition for transport and logistics services, warehouse equipment and technologies, the total exhibition area of which is 15,000 square meters, is attended by about 10,000 specialists from different countries.
