This was stated by Bahar Muradova, Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women, and Children’s Issues, at today’s plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
According to her, these figures are likely to change closer to autumn. Labor market monitoring shows that the share of women is increasing.
“Currently, 23% of individual entrepreneurs in the country are women, while 77% are men. Positive steps are being taken to change this ratio in favor of women and increase their access to finance. Incidentally, 38% of bank employees are women, and 62% are men,” added B. Muradova.
