Importance of Regional Cooperation

He pointed out that Armenia should not take wrong steps and that regional matters should be settled by the will of the local people. Joint Energy Projects

Ilham Aliyev announced the construction of two hydroelectric power stations with a capacity of 280 megawatts, which will bring significant benefits to both Azerbaijan and Iran. The president noted that the liberated Karabakh and East Zangezur regions, as well as Nakhchivan, have been declared green energy zones in Azerbaijan, and the creation of green energy sources in these areas will benefit the entire region.
Future of Iran-Azerbaijan Relations
Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence in the further development of Iran-Azerbaijan relations. He emphasized that joint projects like the Khudafarin and Qiz Qalasi hydroelectric complexes will contribute to the welfare of the peoples and create new jobs.
