Recently, we reached an agreement with Azerbaijan to begin the delimitation of our interstate borders based on the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991.
This means that in the delimitation process, we should simply reproduce the administrative borders between Soviet Armenia and Soviet Azerbaijan, which, according to the Alma-Ata Declaration, became state borders. The start of border delimitation is the implementation of the agreement reached during the quadrilateral meeting on October 6, 2022, between French President Emmanuel Macron, European Council President Charles Michel, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and myself. This took place in Prague. Now it is time to include and reflect these agreements in the peace treaty and sign it,” he noted.
