Hummatov shed light on ongoing large-scale infrastructure projects involving both local and international companies, particularly in Azerbaijan’s liberated districts. A focal project includes establishing a transport link from the East Zangazur economic region to Türkiye, which is expected to significantly benefit the transport and logistics sectors. Recent achievements in transit efficiency were highlighted by Hummatov, who noted the significant reduction in travel time for block trains from China via the Trans-Caspian International Transit Route. Thanks to recent initiatives, containers now reach Georgian ports in just 12 days, a dramatic improvement from the previous 40–50 days. This advancement illustrates the tangible benefits of ongoing efforts to enhance the Middle Corridor’s efficiency and reliability as a trade conduit.
