According to Pashinyan, intense negotiations are underway around the peace treaty: “We hope to come to an agreement on the text as soon as possible and sign it.”
He added that the Armenian government considers the promotion of a peace agenda the only way to reduce tensions in the region.
Pashinyan also said that “the mirrored withdrawal of Armenian and Azerbaijani troops should be carried out in accordance with the maps approved by the USSR General Staff in 1975, which will give a guarantee of stability.
Armenian PM added that “the CSTO mission is not operating in the territory of Armenia, because the Organization does not register where Armenia’s border is. When the Organization registers it, 90% of the problems will be solved.”
