“We always use the opportunity to hold a bilateral meeting. I think we will have good fruitful discussions, and we will be able to sum up the anniversary year of our relations and discuss a number of issues at the beginning of 2023,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow, the Russian bureau of Report informs.
The Azerbaijani minister also thanked the Russian colleagues for organizing this meeting, noting that an agreement on it was reached in early December.
On December 23, a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia was planned in Moscow to discuss the preparation of a peace treaty, but Yerevan refused to participate in the meeting.
