“Armenia intended to make unfounded accusations against Azerbaijan through the CSTO and, in fact, to pit the members of this organization against Azerbaijan. This is a serious provocation and a serious crime,” Aliyev said.
He pointed out that the other CSTO members did not fall for this provocation: “Some came down on Armenia in their speeches so hard that Yerevan cannot forget it to this day. So, what does it mean? It means that we have more friends in this organization than Armenia. How? Because of our policy. Why is there a negative attitude towards Armenia? Because they lie everywhere and there is no door they have not knocked on trying to solve their problems. All this is in the open; everyone sees it and knows it,” the head of state stressed.
