“A proposal to use checkpoints Sotk (Kalbajar), Yeraskh (Sadarak) and Karahunj (Ayvazli) for Azerbaijan’s connection with Nakhichevan, if officially announced, will be regarded by Baku as veiled refusal to fulfill the commitment to provide free and safe access as per the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020,” political analyst Rasim Musabayov wrote on Facebook.
According to him, Yerevan proceeds from the assumption that since Baku has presented to the Armenians the relocation of the Lachin corridor as a fait accompli, they can do the same.
