Minister of Health Teymur Musaev welcomed the guests and highlighted the existing productive partnership between the two countries in the field of healthcare and medical science, and the dynamic development of relations in pharmaceutical industry. It was emphasized that Germany is one of the leading countries in the development, manufacture and sale of pharmaceutical products. The minister also pointed out that the achievements of German research and development, especially in the field of biotechnology, give an impetus to the pharmaceutical industry around the world.
Stressing that leading German pharmaceutical companies are represented in Azerbaijan, Minister Musayev expressed hope for further successful development of cooperation.
In turn, representatives of leading German pharmaceutical companies expressed an interest in taking partnership with Azerbaijan to a higher level. They said that the main purpose of their two-day working visit to our country was to discuss the current state of cooperation and potential opportunities for its growth, as well as to share information about the planned regional projects.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed new prospects for the development and strengthening of cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry.
