Opening the meeting, Health Minister Teymur Musayev said that ensuring sustainable development of the healthcare system has always been in the focus of attention of President Ilham Aliyev. The signed decree prioritizes improvement of the legal and regulatory framework in the field of healthcare and medical insurance, increasing transparency and accountability, and the development of digital health.
A result-oriented action plan was presented at the meeting. The participants decided that the key components of the presidential decree would be discussed at the next meeting of the working group in a broad format, with the participation of representatives of the relevant government agencies.
